As a colleague at Madsbyhus Nursing Home you will be part of the daily care and task solving for the residents. Our core task is to create quality of life and a good everyday life. We work closely with Ulleruphus Nursing Home and a small external group.

You will have a focus on holistic care in the team where you are employed, and you will help set goals for the residents attached to the team. You will also collaborate with the residents' families and participate in the multidisciplinary work.

Madsbyhus Nursing Home is a home for residents with dementia. The home is located close to Madsby Park with nature nearby. The town and the ramparts are within reach.

We are a small nursing home with room for 14 residents, where we have just started implementing the Eden Alternative. Our strategy is: The joy of good everyday days .

We attach importance to the residents and their loved ones being heard and accommodated. We strive for life to have meaningful content, where relationships are created and loneliness is prevented.

Some employees have lots of experience and have been here for many years, while others are new. What we have in common is a professional interest in creating the best framework for our residents with dementia.

We are a diverse group consisting of social- and health care helpers, social- and health care assistants, pedagogue, trainees, cleaning assistants, technical service employee, nurse, planner, activity workers and nursing home manager.

Together we make the house function, and together we make a difference for our residents.

Are educated as a social- and health care assistant or a social- and health care helper and have experience with dementia. You are professionally sound and curious, work independently and in a structured way and take responsibility within your area of competence.

You approach daily work with a positive attitude and see opportunities rather than limitations. As a colleague you are welcoming and stable, have good teamwork skills and value multidisciplinary collaboration. You contribute to the team's development and at the same time want to develop yourself and be trained in new tasks.

In addition we emphasise that you

• speak and write Danish at an advanced level
• have a flair for IT and preferably knowledge of KMD Nexus and FS3
• are entitled to work in Denmark.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

References

References will be sought upon employment.

Criminal record check

A criminal record check will be obtained upon employment. Employment is conditional on the certificate being without notes of significance for performing the specific position.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

The position is 37 hours. According to the municipality's personnel policy there can be discussion about individual wishes for flexibility in working hours and the arrangement of work.
