STU Team Coordinator for HabitusHuset Bøgelund CFU – Job & Education at Jelling

Are you passionate about creating coherence between education, employment and pedagogical development for young people with special needs? Do you have strong collaboration skills, a flair for coordination and a desire to help develop a growing offering? Then you may be our new team coordinator.

In addition to your role as an instructor, you will become a central part of a cross-disciplinary coordination team consisting of three team coordinators in the areas of Job and Education, Housing Support and Bodel.

You will become the central link between young people, staff, municipal partners and management where, in collaboration with your manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing and documenting interventions within our STU (Specially Designed Youth Education) and sheltered employment offerings.

You can expect to

• Support and teach young people with special needs
• Preparation of status descriptions for educational counselors and municipal caseworkers
• Coordination of calendars and planning of meeting activities
• Invitations to network meetings, status meetings, team meetings and other collaboration meetings
• Preparation of minutes and follow-up on agreements from network meetings, team meetings and other meeting venues
• Contribute to the development of marketing and information materials
• Development of documentation frameworks and quality standards
• Description of pedagogical methods and interventions
• Contribute to the professional and strategic development of the area in close collaboration with colleagues and management

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant background in social, pedagogical, educational or health-related fields
• Has knowledge of STU and preferably of the Services Act §103- and §104-offerings
• Has experience with young people with special needs
• Is relationship-building and thrives in collaboration with colleagues, relatives and municipal partners
• Wants to combine coordination, documentation and development tasks with the role of instructor
• Is open to a position of 25-30 hours per week

Our approach is based on high professionalism, strong relationships and close cooperation with the young person, relatives and municipal partners.

In the job group you will be colleagues with 9 dedicated staff members with a strong focus on development, education, employment and meaningful communities. There are currently 32 young people in the job group.
