About the job

We are seeking an ambitious student assistant for Danske Bank's Family Office team . You will be based at our new headquarters on Bernstorffsgade, Copenhagen , and become part of a dynamic environment with colleagues from across the bank.

As a student with us, you will be an integral part of the team and gain broad exposure to the many different tasks involved in a family office collaboration. You will work closely with bankers and specialists across the bank and gain insight into how we prepare analyses, client conversations and solutions for Danish families as well as single- and multi-family offices.

The role is designed as a learning platform: You will contribute across analytics, research, meeting preparation, client materials and internal projects. Tasks vary, and you will have the opportunity to build a broad financial toolbox before gradually taking on more complex deliverables.

You will among other things work with

  • Analysis of investments, portfolios and asset allocation
  • Financial statement analysis as well as assessment of financing and credit conditions
  • Research within private equity, private credit and other alternative investments
  • Preparation of client materials, presentations and pitches and participation when relevant
  • Projects across Asset Management, Markets, Corporate Finance, Credit Advisory and Private Banking
  • Participation in strategic projects and development of new initiatives for Family Office clients

Who are you?

We imagine that you are studying a finance- or economics-oriented education at CBS, KU or another relevant university – for example FIR, FIN, FSM, AEF, cand.polit. or similar. You may be pursuing your master's degree, but this is not a requirement.

We imagine that you

  • Have a strong interest in investments, companies and financial markets
  • Are analytically strong and have experience with financial statements and financial modeling
  • Work in a structured way and have a sense for both detail and the bigger picture
  • Are curious, proactive and not afraid to ask questions
  • Want to take responsibility and contribute with your own ideas
  • Are strong in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Are a diligent user of AI, but understand how to critically assess the output
  • Communicate clearly in Danish and English

Experience from a previous student job or internship in, for example, corporate finance, auditing, asset management, private equity or banking is an advantage – but not a requirement. Motivation, professional curiosity and the willingness to develop are weighted at least as highly.

What will you get with us?

You will experience a steep learning curve and a broad financial toolbox, which normally requires several different roles to build. You will receive close sparring, insight into real client assignments and a strong network across the bank.

We expect you to contribute actively. In return, we invest in your development and give you more responsibility as you become ready for it.

Does this sound like the right student job for you?

  • Expected start: As soon as possible

Attach your CV and transcript , and send a personal application that gives us a sense of who you are – beyond your CV. You decide the format and may be creative. You may, for example, tell us about your areas of interest, a project you have worked on and found particularly exciting, a subject or elective that made an impression on you, what you do in your spare time, what drives and motivates you, a quote you find particularly interesting or a film that has made an impression on you.

You are also very welcome to bring something entirely different if it says something relevant about you, your curiosity and how you will contribute to the team and develop in the role.
