Student Assistant for Finance, Business Controlling & Data 📊🥤

Are you a student in economics, finance, accounting, business controlling, data analytics or similar – and would you like hands-on experience in a company where there is not a long distance from analysis to decision?

At Greenwitch we are looking for a sharp and curious student assistant who can help us create an even better overview of finance, performance and data.

The position is approximately 6–10 hours per week and can be arranged flexibly around your studies.

What will you be working with?

You will get close to the daily operations and have the opportunity to work with both finance, controlling and analysis. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Follow-up on revenue, costs and KPIs
• Budget follow-up and analysis of actual vs. budget
• Business controlling and ongoing performance analyses
• Preparation and improvement of monthly reporting
• Analysis of sales, customer and product data
• Working with contribution margin, margins and unit economics
• Bookkeeping, reconciliations and quality assurance of financial data
• Building and automating reports and dashboards
• Ad hoc analyses that can help us make better business decisions

The role can be tailored to your competences and interests. If you are strong in accounting, you can take on more responsibility within accounting and controlling. If you are more data-oriented, you can work more with analyses, dashboards and automation.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are studying e.g. HA, cand.merc., economics, finance, accounting, business analytics or a related education.

You do not need to know everything from day one. The most important is that you

• Are good with numbers and have an analytical mindset
• Are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and want to become even better
• Work in a structured way and have an eye for detail
• Are curious about how finance and data can be used to run a business
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Are keen to learn – and at the same time dare to ask questions about how we do things

Experience with, for example, Power BI, Looker Studio, SQL, Python, Shopify or financial systems is a plus, but certainly not a requirement.

What do you get at Greenwitch?

You won't get a classic student assistant role where you only sit with routine tasks. The aim is that you come close to the business and gradually take on responsibility for analyses and reporting that are actually used to make decisions.

You will have the opportunity to translate study theory into practice and gain experience in both finance, accounting, controlling and data analytics .
