About the job
Are you systematic and have a flair for keeping order in rather unwieldy data models, or do you just think organizing things is a party?
We are looking for someone who can help our engineers keep track of documentation and make their everyday life easier. If you are used to neatly placing all your files in folders on the computer and love planning in Excel, then this position is for you.
About us
You will join the section for Systems and Integration Management, which is a team of 10 people, that together constitutes the land division's system management element. The purpose is to ensure technical coordination of projects, verification and validation of projects, preparation and maintenance of an actual system architecture in the land division as well as modelling this architecture. All this must be done in cooperation with the responsible case handlers, capacity managers and users.
We are physically located in the coordination department for the land division. We procure everything from shoelaces to battle tanks, and our task is that all the things work together. We work across all specialties in the land division and also have direct contact with both the air and maritime departments.
We are mostly civilians with engineering backgrounds in our section. We do not take ourselves too seriously and have a very free and friendly tone. Over the years we have had many student assistants and have become good at making it work. We are very inclusive, and even if you are only on 15 hours, we insist that you are FULLY integrated in the section.
About the position
You will, with direct reference to the deputy head, be our system engineer support staff.
Responsibilities include, among other things
- Participation in project meetings and help with decision minutes.
- Create and maintain responsibility matrices for the projects.
- Assist with data coordination in Enterprise Architect, which is our governance tool.
- Assist the deputy head with various other tasks.
- Make coffee. But everyone else does too.
All of this must be possible to do at (up to) 15 hours per week, after direct agreement with your nearest supervisor.
There are no formal requirements for education from your side. We will teach you everything. You will have the opportunity to create a workday that fits with your studies, after agreement with the deputy head.
About you
You are a student in higher education. This means you are either studying for a bachelor or master. The study is not relevant as long as you have an interest in the work we do.
You have more than two years left of your studies and are interested in working with us for as long as possible. You know IT and find it interesting to work digitally.
Your most important trait is that you are willing to learn and above all that you are willing to learn by using the tools we need.
As a person you are analytical and systematic. We expect you to work in a structured way with your tasks, both independently and as part of a team, and you can follow up tasks to the end. As a colleague you are curious and open to other people and their circumstances. We also expect that you can express yourself fluently in writing and orally in both Danish and English.
Employment terms
As a bachelor student, the employment is in accordance with the currently applicable Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Civil Service Area (OAO-S Joint Agreement) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK Agreement).
Your employment as a student assistant under the HK agreement is conditional on you being an actively enrolled student and able to document that you are enrolled at a higher education institution or at a medium-length higher education (MVU) at a professional bachelor or equivalent institution.
As a master's student, the employment is in accordance with the current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state (Academic Agreement).
Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is a possibility for negotiation of a supplement.
There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.
The workplace is in Ballerup.
As an employee within the Ministry of Defense area you are subject to some special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.
