The student job

In this student job you will help our partner with a wide range of tasks in finance, operations and operational support. You will get a versatile role where you both ensure that the daily tasks are solved correctly and on time, and contribute to developing and structuring the company’s workflows.

Part of your day-to-day will involve payroll, invoicing and financial reporting, where you will, among other things, work with data, reconciliations and the preparation of monthly reports. At the same time you will play an important role in the implementation of a new quality management system, where you will help develop procedures, document processes and create structure around the company’s workflows.

In addition, you will be part of the daily operational support, where you assist with everything from coordination and request-for-quote collection to smaller analyses and practical tasks. You will thus get a role with great variety, where you must both dive into concrete tasks and be ready to seize the opportunities and needs that arise along the way.

Your tasks

• Finance & operations: Prepare and carry out payroll, check timesheets and holidays, and handle the monthly invoicing, including reconciling hours across reports.
• Financial reporting: Prepare monthly reports and accompanying material with data on employees, projects, headcount forecasts and finances.
• Quality management: Assist with the implementation of a new quality management system, including developing procedures, describing processes and working with documentation in SharePoint.
• Operational Support: Assist with coordinating internal events, obtaining quotes and solving various practical and administrative tasks.
• Analyses & ad hoc: Investigate concrete issues, prepare smaller analyses and help with tasks such as checking travel reimbursements and other everyday tasks.

The company

In the student job you will become part of an engineering firm with 27 employees, where professionalism, collaboration and development are an important part of daily life. You will work daily at the office in Stilling, which is easily accessible by bus from Aarhus. You will work closely with the CEO and thus have the opportunity to get very close to the company’s operations and development.
