Student job: Financial Consultant

The student job

We are looking for a student for our new partner, who can become part of the finance function and contribute to both daily accounting tasks and a number of administrative development tasks.

You will become part of a small team where you get close sparring with your colleagues who handle the daily finance function.

You will primarily work with finance and accounting, but will also have the opportunity to solve various administrative and optimization tasks in the role.

The tasks within finance and accounting include

• Participation in creditor posting and posting of payments
• Bank reconciliation and ongoing reconciliations
• Contribute to monthly submissions and reporting
• Prepare and reconcile VAT calculations
• Contribute to monthly reporting – also at group level
• Assist with preparation of annual accounts
• Contribute to finance tasks and improvements in a Swedish sister company

The tasks within administration and optimization include

• Investigate and help build processes around packaging tax
• Work with Swedish sales terms and EAN invoicing
• Troubleshooting for invoicing and system-related challenges
• Identify ideas for improvements and efficiencies across the organization
• Opportunity to work with warehouse optimization
• Opportunity to contribute to upgrading or replacing the existing financial system

The company

You will become part of a small company in Odense, but well-established and internationally oriented, delivering technological solutions to professional customers across multiple markets. The company has a strong professional organization and continuously works on developing and streamlining both the business and internal processes.

You will become part of the finance function, where there is a short path from idea to action, and where you have the opportunity to gain insight into both daily operations and the company's development.
