Subject Matter Coordinator and AC Generalist in the Drone Team

Would you like to help develop and set the framework for the drone sector?

The drone sector is growing and in the future can contribute to significant societal tasks within the environment, climate, health and not least logistics and distribution of goods. Additionally, due to the geopolitical situation there is also great focus on drones in the emergency response area. We are currently looking for a subject matter coordinator and an AC-generalist for the Drone Team, who can contribute to the implementation of a number of political initiatives in the area and also to creating a safe and efficient case handling of high professional quality.

You will become part of a very dedicated team that already has busy with many different cases, including case processing and risk assessment, which must enable larger and more complex drone operations. It is not a requirement that you have experience with the drone area, but you must be willing to dive into it and furthermore thrive in a legally complex professional field.

We have the possibility to tailor your tasks to match your profile, but the tasks for the two positions will as a rule consist of the following:

Subject matter coordinator

• Overall responsibility for planning and quality assurance of the handling of applications for drone permits
• Coordinate ministerial and department servicing and be the point of contact for the implementation of political initiatives in the drone area in close cooperation with the ministry and other authorities
• Be a professional sparring partner for the rest of the team and contribute to training of new employees.
• Participate in international working groups in the drone area.
• We expect you to have relevant higher education such as Cand. Scient. Pol., Cand. Soc. or the like.

AC-generalist

• Case handling, including risk assessments of drone operations in close dialogue with companies, industry associations, other authorities and citizens.
• Preparation of notes and response to orders from the department or inquiries from other authorities.
• Participation in international working groups in the drone area.
• We expect you to have relevant higher education such as Cand. Scient. Pol., Cand. Soc. or the like.

For the position as subject matter coordinator, it will additionally be emphasized that you are process-strong, have solid experience from the central administration and that you can navigate safely in an area with many different stakeholders.

Become part of the everyday life in the drone team

Our tasks in the drone area are highly cross-disciplinary. The team consists of employees with specialist knowledge within the drone area, as well as lawyers and generalists. We handle everything from processing of operative permits and risk assessments, to information campaigns aimed at citizens and companies, rulemaking and safeguarding Danish interests in international forums.

Salary and terms of employment

The positions are 37 hours per week and employment is according to the current collective agreement. Employment as a subject matter coordinator is as a special or chief consultant depending on your experience. Employment as an AC-generalist is as an attorney. Both positions are available as soon as possible. There is a requirement that you must be able to obtain security clearance and maintain the clearance during your entire employment. Both positions will involve limited travel.
