About the job

Do you want to contribute to strengthening young people's well-being and health and make a difference for young people at Copenhagen's upper secondary schools? Then this position might be something for you.

About us

The Department of Public Health in Copenhagen is one of three departments in the Center for Prevention and Communities. The Center for Prevention and Communities is a new center in the Health and Care Administration and has been created as part of an organizational reform to bring the administration closer to citizens, closer to operations and closer to our partners.

The center's main task is among other things the strategic development of the public health area in the City of Copenhagen, development and operation of citizen-near initiatives and offerings, and the promotion of communities across civil society, local communities, other administrations and other relevant actors.

In the center we work data-driven, and we strive to create knowledge and link data in a meaningful way. We use data strategically to target, prioritize and evaluate our work. We collaborate closely with other administrations, civil society and the arenas where Copenhagen residents go about their daily lives, e.g. educational institutions, sports facilities and in city spaces.

About the job as health consultant

  • Collecting and communicating data
  • Developing, facilitating and supporting the implementation of activities, interventions and policies at the upper secondary schools
  • Planning and facilitating meetings, presentations, theme days and workshops at staff and management level

About you

  • You are good at building, nurturing and maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience and willingness to give presentations and communicate professional knowledge and data

  • Good organizational understanding and ability to navigate in collaboration across organizations and different partners and stakeholders
  • You are a team player who can see the value of collaboration and mutual involvement, feedback and sparring with colleagues
  • Competences or interest in facilitating participatory processes
  • Knowledge and experience from the youth sector is an advantage

In the department you will have 28 engaged and capable colleagues spread across three teams. We place great emphasis on a good working environment, professional sparring, accountability and respect.
