Team with strong cohesion seeks a pedagogue from December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

For Syddjurs Bo- og Aktivitetstilbud (SyBA) at Tendrup Møllevej 115 B in Hornslet we are seeking a approachable and engaged pedagogue who wants to become part of a professionally strong team with a close collegial community.

You are a warm and present person who is motivated to support people with significant cognitive challenges. You thrive on creating structure and predictability in daily life and you take joy in the small activities, relationships and moments of joy that make a big difference for the residents.

Our resident group

Do you have flair or an interest in working with people who have extensive cognitive and social challenges after an acquired brain injury? Are you interested in providing care and assistance to people who cannot themselves manage their personal hygiene?

• Then we need you in our professional community at Tendrup Møllevej, a residential facility for adults with acquired brain injury.

You are robust and professionally curious, as our residents have complex problems that require a highly specialized pedagogical approach.

You are passionate about motivating, caring for, accommodating and appropriately stimulating people who are challenged because their brain injury, for example, causes them to become tired quickly, have memory problems, planning and orientation difficulties and memory issues, lack of overview, difficulties in expressing themselves linguistically and understanding others as well as changes in personality.

Many of the residents also need help with all personal hygiene, and some are bedbound and use a lift.

The residents need support, help and a professionally warm heart in order to experience a meaningful daily life based on their own life history, interests and network.

There are 15 residents in the residential facility, of whom three live in independent apartments. The residents are in the age group 45-64 years.

Our professional approach to the residents

We work with a high degree of interdisciplinarity based on neuro-pedagogical thinking and methods from KRAP (Cognitive, Resource-focused, Appreciative Practice), which are our shared professional approach to the residents.

You will become part of a strong professionally competent team with stable and positive colleagues, a good working environment and good opportunities for professional development. The following professional groups are employed in the department: social pedagogues, social and health care assistants, social and health care helpers, occupational therapists and nurses.

We offer

An onboarding program with a series of intro shifts, where you are introduced to the department's tasks together with a fixed colleague. You will be trained in the health care tasks by health-care responsible staff.

In addition, you will be assigned to a fixed employee who acts as your mentor and helps coordinate your startup in the department in collaboration with you and the rest of the team. Your mentor will support your learning and well-being as well as offer meetings in the onboarding period as needed.

Working hours

With us you are needed for day, evening and weekend shifts, so you should view varying working hours as a benefit. There are 16-hour shifts available if you wish.

The position is permanent and on 30-37 hours per week with start on December 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.
