SyBA seeks a nurse for a permanent position in Hornslet

Team with strong camaraderie seeks a nurse for a permanent position from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

We seek a skilled and committed nurse for Syddjurs Bo- og Aktivitetstilbud (SyBA), Tendrup Møllevej 115 B in Hornslet. You are interested in brain injury and psychiatry and want to help people who are cognitively very challenged, need structure in daily life and take pleasure in many small activities and star moments.

Our citizen group

Do you have flair or interest in working with people who have extensive cognitive and social challenges after acquired brain injuries? Do you have an interest in providing care and assistance to people who cannot manage personal hygiene themselves? Do you have experience from psychiatry and/or residential settings?

-We need you in our professional community at Tendrup Møllevej, a residential facility for adults with acquired brain injury.

You are robust and professionally curious, as our citizens have very complex issues requiring a highly specialized pedagogical approach. You are passionate about in cooperation with citizens and colleagues to motivate, care for, accommodate and appropriately stimulate people who are challenged because their brain injury causes, for example, rapid fatigue, memory problems, planning, orientation, recall difficulties, lack of overview, difficulties expressing themselves linguistically and understanding others, as well as personality changes.

The citizens need help to manage health challenges and comorbidities after brain injury, personal hygiene, support, help and a professional warm heart to experience a meaningful everyday life based on their own life story, interests and network.

There is room for 15 citizens in the residential facility, of which three are in independent apartments. The citizens are in the age group 48-72 years.

Our professional approach to the citizens

We work neuropedagogically in our approach to the citizens and with a high degree of multidisciplinary collaboration, based on neuro-pedagogical thinking and methods from KRAP (Cognitive, Resource-focused, Appreciative and Practice), which constitute our shared professional foundation in the work with the citizens.

You will become part of a strong professionally competent team with faithful and positive colleagues, a good working environment and opportunities for professional development. The department employs the following professional groups: pedagogues, nurses, social and health care assistants, aides and occupational therapists.

We offer

An onboarding program with a series of intro shifts, where you will become acquainted with the tasks in the department together with a fixed employee. You will be trained in the health care tasks by health care staff.

You will also be attached to a fixed employee who acts as your mentor and helps coordinate your onboarding in the department in collaboration with you and the rest of the team. Your mentor will support your learning and well-being and offer conversations in the startup period if needed.

Working hours

With us there is a need for you both day, evening and weekend. So you should see it as an advantage to have rotating hours and work every 2nd or 3rd weekend.

The position is 30-37 hours depending on what you want.
