Sick pay advisers for JobKolding – 4 permanent positions

JobKolding is seeking four engaged sickness benefit advisers for the Sickness Benefit department:

• 3 permanent positions with a special focus on strengthening the efforts for sick-listed citizens (the focus is currently for a 3-year period)
• 1 permanent position as a result of one of our good colleagues retiring.

These positions are 37 hours per week with start date 1 January 2027.

About the job

You will be responsible for supporting sick-listed citizens on their return to the labor market through a holistic, job-oriented and law-abiding approach.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Hold meetings and follow up on sickness benefit cases.
• Motivate and support citizens’ progression towards employment or retention.
• Coordinate actions in complex cases.
• Collaborate closely with companies, employers and other partners.
• Make decisions and ensure high quality in case handling.
• Participate in competence development programs with your colleagues.

We are looking for you who

• Are educated social worker or social mediator, or have experience from a similar position.
• Have experience with the sickness benefit area and relevant legislation.
• Can stand firmly in the authority role.
• Work in a structured and independent manner.
• Thrive in collaboration with both citizens, companies and colleagues.
• Are professionally curious, solution-oriented and contribute positively to the community.

The sickness benefit department consists of about 40 employees distributed across four smaller teams. We work from the principle that it is our citizens rather than my citizens , and we believe that the best solutions are created through strong cooperation, professionalism, reflective practice and shared responsibility. At the same time we work from the outset of Citizen Center , where the citizen is an active participant in their own effort, and where together we find the solutions that best support the path back to the labor market.
