We are looking for a structured, service-minded and positive nurse who values strong collaboration and thrives in a small, tightly knit department and also in a larger group of colleagues in our cardiology inpatient ward. In the project department you will become an important part of a team consisting of six project nurses and a secretary, where cooperation, communication and mutual support are the foundation of our success.

About the job

You will become a central figure in our exciting projects, which are primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. If you have experience with cardiology, that is a big advantage – but most importantly is your interest in project work and your desire to make a difference.

Your tasks will include

• Patient contact: conversations, screening and recruitment of new participants for our projects
• Sampling: blood tests, treatment and shipment of samples
• Examinations: measurement of vital signs, ECG and handling of questionnaires
• Data handling: data entry into systems, administrative tasks and research-related work
• Weekend on-call every fourth weekend in our cardiac medicine inpatient ward (E2)

Who are you?

You are service-minded and good at quickly building trusting relationships with the patients who participate in research with new cardiac medicine. Your work is independent, varied and gives you a lot of freedom with responsibility. You thrive in a busy daily routine, where you can juggle several tasks at once and switch smoothly between them.

Leadership and organization

For the projects, doctors are attached who have the daily medical responsibility while Chief Nurse Pia Dahl has the daily personnel management.

The Region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in DSR. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
