About the job
Are you passionate about working with the complex citizen journeys in a good working environment, where there is a focus on development and collaboration across disciplines? Do you want to contribute to creating a good workplace where professionalism and the working environment support the residents' daily life? Then you may be the person we are looking for.
We need nurses for the upcoming health and care placements, where the focus is on development, and therefore this appointment could be combined with the possibility of weekend work in the upcoming regional acute team.
Citizen-Centered Health in Hospital Unit Central Denmark (Hospitalsenhed Midt) is seeking nurses who want to be involved from the start in Citizen-Centered Health, where the local health system should be shaped in practice. The department is established in connection with the implementation of the health reform to create coherent pathways, high professional quality and health closer to the citizens. Citizen-Centered Health will take on tasks from 1 January 2027, which today are part of the municipal health offering.
Our core task is clear: we collaborate with citizens to strengthen health and promote citizens' independence and meaningful lives. As a nurse with us you will play a central role in translating this core task into action – every day, in every pathway.
This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week with employment from 1 January 2027 with mixed shifts, and we aim for you to work in two shift blocks – day/evening, day/night or evening/night with a weekend shift every 3 weeks. This is a position where there will be opportunities for weekend shifts either at the health and care placements or in the upcoming regional acute team.
Therefore you should apply for the job
With us, work is about people – citizens in temporary and often complex pathways, where there is a need for strong nursing competencies, sharp clinical observations, overview and the ability to work rehabilitatively. You will join a strong professional environment where your experience and your competencies are in demand, and where interdisciplinarity is not just a word, but something we do – and do well.
The upcoming health and care placements will be located at the temporary placements in Skive Municipality, which today is called Gnisten. They will be part of Citizen-Centered Health and will become a ward with 24 beds in Skive.
We work every day with the goal of giving our citizens the best possibilities for a good and dignified life. Citizens have very diverse challenges. Common to them and their relatives is that they are in a newly occurred situation, where they have needed increased help from professionals. Therefore there is a strong focus on collaboration between social and health care assistants, nurses and therapists.
We are looking for you who
- have a relevant health professional education, so you can solve the tasks at a high professional level
- are motivated by citizen pathways where rehabilitation, acute nursing and complexity meet
- thrive in creating overview in complex and changing pathways
- can perform independent clinical assessments and prioritize in a busy everyday life
- meet citizens and relatives with presence, respect and clear communication
- work autonomously, but never alone, and have the courage to embrace change and the desire to help shape something new
We offer
- development is a key word for us, and we offer ongoing competence development within relevant areas
- a thorough and individualized introduction to the tasks as well as a mentoring scheme, so you have a fixed colleague you can go to with questions
- opportunity to work with both nursing, rehabilitation, coordination and citizen involvement
There are rarely two days that are the same. You can expect that it is often busy, and therefore it is important that you thrive in a high tempo. Both residents, their relatives and your colleagues depend on you and your effort, so it is important that you are reliable and flexible.
We pull together and strive to make an effort every day. We work together to reach our common goal: to give our residents the best possible chances for a good and dignified old-age life. We do this with an appreciative and respectful approach to both the residents, their relatives and to each other as colleagues. At the same time, we are together in creating a safe and good working environment where we resolve things through dialogue.
When you get started well, the focus will be on jointly planning the care and practical assistance based on the resident's situation and the municipality's quality standards. Collaboration with residents and their relatives always takes its starting point in respect, responsibility and quality of life.
