Dental Hygienist for the Public Dental Service in Kolding

At the Dental Service in Kolding you have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adult patients – the position can be composed based on your competencies and wishes.

We are seeking a dental hygienist for a permanent position, where we would like to base on your wishes for working hours. We are therefore open to both full-time and part-time. Please indicate in your application how many hours you want.

In the Dental Service in Kolding we take our professionalism seriously – without taking ourselves too seriously.

Good dental care requires solid craft, professional overview and good teamwork. We use each other’s competencies and delegate among other things examinations of the youngest patients, sealants and teaching to our skilled dental assistants. It gives room for each of us to use our professionalism where it does the most good.

As a dental hygienist you are an important part of the patient’s pathway. You have an eye for both the patient, their circumstances and possibilities – and for the reality we operate municipal dental care within.

Your core tasks are diagnostics and planning. You also devote a large part of your professional expertise to motivating, instructing and guiding patients and parents so that they gain knowledge and tools to take care of their teeth.

The fine print

We are 75 employees who provide dental care to the children and youth of Kolding Municipality and the patients in Adult Dental Care. We are distributed across four clinics where we perform all types of treatments, both non-operative and operative.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with applicable collective agreement. Salary is set according to principles of local wage formation.

In accordance with Kolding Municipality’s personnel rules, a child consent check will be obtained. Prior to employment, Kolding Municipality will obtain a criminal record check when required by law, or when the position otherwise warrants it.
