Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a full-time teacher for a maternity leave replacement until June 30, 2027 in team 3 for our department at Borup Byvej.

We want the position filled from January 1, 2027.

We are seeking a teacher who is flexible and adaptable. With an interest in providing special education as well as willingness to work with students with complex challenges. It is expected that you have insight into and understanding of students' learning prerequisites, and who can create good learning environments. Environments that strengthen students' personal, social and academic competencies, and continuous work with students in committed communities.

You must be able to participate in the interprofessional collaboration surrounding the students.

Who are Trekløverskolen?

Trekløverskolen is distributed across three departments: Blommevej, Borup Byvej and Støvringgårdvej. The current student base is about 290 students. We have about 170 staff members across teachers, pedagogues, PAU, assistants, therapists and TAP. The target group includes students with communicative challenges, such as delayed or no linguistic development, students with socio-emotional challenges, students with physical disabilities as well as students with specific challenges within the autism spectrum, ADHD, developmental delay and comorbidities. Some of our students also have more or less mental retardation.

All school subject groups work together in interprofessional learning communities to create good development and learning environments. There are high demands for expanded parental cooperation, as well as a de-privatized practice in the classrooms.

Trekløverskolen is a school where dialogue and openness are important fundamental elements in our collaboration climate. We work from an appreciative approach, focusing on each student's competencies and resources so that in learning situations we take as a starting point and plan according to the students' prerequisites.

We work with the expanded learning concept and with the idea of bringing the subject to the child. We also work with the students' life skills so that the students have the best conditions to achieve the most autonomy and mastery of their own life.

It is advantageous if you have

• Strong relationship skills that can flexibly handle teaching in ordinary school subjects and are able to pedagogically use the extended teaching concept in relation to the students' prerequisite level.
• Knowledge of conflict management and low arousal approach, as we may receive students described with outwardly reacting behavior.
• Adaptability and flexibility and the ability to work systematically with knowledge, including knowledge of prerequisites and the student’s level of functioning.
• Teaching competence in ordinary school subjects in the early years.

• Is a trained teacher.
• Has strong professional competencies within the special education area.
• Has strong relationship skills and an eye for the individual student’s development in the community.
• Can work independently and in a structured way.
• Has good interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Is well-formulated in writing.
