Teacher for a special school from 1 January 2027 (37 hours per week)

We are looking for a trained teacher for Harløse School, a special school offering for normally gifted students with autism spectrum disorder.

You are an engaged teacher who can light up students' eyes through well-planned teaching and with a soft heart for students with special needs.

Knowledge of autism is not a prerequisite, as the most important thing is the desire to work and collaborate in our field. We offer internal courses in autism understanding and various pedagogical tools on an ongoing basis. You will, together with your teaching colleague in the team, cover all subjects and therefore need to be able to cover a fairly broad range of subjects. It would be an advantage if you can also take on teaching in mathematics and English in upper secondary. The students are taught all public school subjects as well as social skills. Common to all students is that they have special needs requiring special consideration and adults with both will, knowledge and ability to understand them. The students attend classes with 6-9 students, and you will become part of a team with 3 other colleagues – teachers and pedagogues.
