TEAM LEAD LOGISTICS

Do you want to lead an important logistics area in an international design company in growth?

We are looking for a Team Lead Logistics, a team player who is passionate about transport, logistics and process optimization. You will have a central role in our Shipping department, where you will be responsible for ensuring high quality in our deliveries and contributing professionally to the development of our logistics function.

The job

As Team Lead Logistics you will become part of the Shipping team in Gelsted, where your tasks are concentrated around transport and goods flow. At the same time you will have professional responsibility to ensure an efficient and well-functioning operation and you will become an important sparring partner for colleagues and partners across the organization.

Your primary responsibilities include

• Daily coordination and professional leadership of the team's tasks as well as your own areas of expertise
• Ensuring effective and timely deliveries to customers worldwide
• Optimization of workflows and processes with a particular focus on outbound logistics
• Identification of improvement opportunities and implementation of solutions
• Participation in freight negotiations and selection of transport partners
• Responsibility for daily completion and invoicing of sales orders
• Ensuring correct accounting of freight costs
• Participation in the super-user team for D365 and related systems
• Responsibility for updating and implementing SOPs
• Close collaboration with Warehouse, Customer Service and Supply Chain

You will become part of a strong team of 5 employees in Shipping and join a team of Team Leads across Logistics, Inbound, Outbound, Customer Service and Returns.

Qualifications

We imagine that you

• Are educated freight forwarder and have several years of experience in international transport and logistics
• Have worked with transport procurement or otherwise gained insight into the transport industry from several angles
• Have experience with order processing and logistics solutions from an international manufacturing or trading company
• Have good process understanding and understanding of coordination and information flow
• Are familiar with ERP systems, preferably D365 F&O, as well as WMS solutions
• Master Danish and English at a high level in both written and spoken form

As a person you are structured, solution-oriented and good at building relationships. You thrive in a role with many touchpoints and are able to maintain overview in a busy daily life. You take responsibility, work independently and actively contribute to a positive collaboration where everyone pulls together.

Experience with team leadership is an advantage, but not a requirement.
