About the job
Would you like to be part of an experienced, strong and well-functioning leadership group and help shape the future of holistic care and nursing on Frederiksberg?
Frederiksberg Holistic Care and Nursing seeks a team leader who wants to be close to staff, citizens and daily operations and at the same time help develop our organization in a time where both the Elderly Act, the health reform and the development of local health services create new frameworks and opportunities.
Interdisciplinary collaboration that inspires
With us, interdisciplinarity is not just something we talk about. It is how we work. Nurses, therapists, social and health care workers and managers collaborate closely to create safe, coherent and holistic citizen pathways.
Our way of working interdisciplinarily has attracted interest beyond Frederiksberg. We regularly receive inquiries from other municipalities who want to hear more about our interdisciplinary collaboration and to be inspired by how we use electronic boards and board meetings to create shared overview, coordinate efforts and ensure quality and coherence in citizen pathways.
You will play a central role in this work close to practice and with the possibility to create the framework for a strong professional community and a holistic approach.
A practice-oriented leadership role
You will be responsible for the daily management of three interdisciplinary teams with dedicated and highly qualified staff. You will become the direct supervisor for nurses, social and health care assistants and social and health care helpers.
Your task will be both to ensure stable and well-functioning operations and to create the best conditions for professional development, well-being and quality.
Your daily life will be diverse, and you will, among other things, work with
- Daily professional and personnel leadership
- Staff well-being, work environment and sick leave
- Onboarding, competence development and professional sparring
- Shift planning, resource allocation and task distribution
- Coordination of daily actions and driving lists in collaboration with planners and staff
- Follow-up on quality and citizen pathways
- Handling personnel cases, difficult conversations and citizen inquiries
- Implementation of new workflows, concepts and professional initiatives
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and development of daily practice
You must therefore be able to be close to the operations when needed, and lift your gaze when we together develop the organization.
As a professional leader you should also support staff competencies in working with complex care and treatment pathways and ensure that tasks are carried out in accordance with current guidelines, evidence-based practice and efficient workflows.
You will become part of a strong leadership community
We believe that good leadership becomes stronger when practiced together with others. With us you will be part of a close leadership community where we actively use each other for sparring and reflection.
You will sit under the same roof and on the same corridor as your two nearest leadership colleagues and the area manager you report to. This means that sparring, questions and ideas are never far away – even when everyday life is busy.
We share both challenges and successes, and you will have responsibility and freedom in your leadership role, while always having colleagues close by for sparring.
We work from a trust-based and appreciative leadership approach, where clarity, responsibility and psychological safety go hand in hand. We must be able to ask questions, be curious, challenge each other and disagree in a constructive way. We believe that different perspectives qualify both decisions and our leadership.
At the same time, we place a high priority on leadership development. We want to develop the employees, but we also want to develop ourselves as leaders. Because everyday life can sometimes be busy and unpredictable, we also emphasize a sensible balance between work and private life. We believe that good leaders must also be able to withstand being leaders.
About Frederiksberg Holistic Care and Nursing
Frederiksberg Holistic Care and Nursing is an important part of the municipality’s overall effort to create safety, quality and coherence for citizens who need help, care and treatment in the nursing clinic, via screen or in their own home.
We deliver both holistic care and nursing and work closely across professional boundaries with a focus on each citizen’s needs, wishes and life situation. Our ambition is to create coherent and holistic citizen pathways where professionalism, continuity and presence go hand in hand.
We are also an organization in development. With the new Elderly Act, the health reform and the continued development of Frederiksberg Holistic Care and Nursing, new frameworks and opportunities have been created for how we organize and deliver our services. This places demands on professionalism, collaboration and leadership, but also provides opportunities to think creatively and develop our practice.
About the organization
Frederiksberg Holistic Care and Nursing is organized into three geographic areas plus an across-area and has around 450 employees in total.
You will be attached to an area with about 125 interdisciplinary staff, including nurses, social and health care assistants, social and health care helpers, occupational therapists and APN-nurses.
Additionally, you will work closely with our planners across the Health Act, Elderly Act and Social Services Act. The planners play an important role in ensuring coordination, coherence and efficient planning of citizens’ pathways.
The local management consists of an area leader and three team leaders. We work closely and in coordination with a shared responsibility for operations, professional development and the working environment.
We are physically located centrally on Frederiksberg in an attractive and vibrant area by Frederiksberg Hospital. Here you have your nearest leadership colleagues and your area leader nearby in daily life.
You will also have a close collaboration with our cross-functional functions that support both operations and professional quality. This includes our quality organization, contact center and nursing visits as well as a municipal doctor who contributes with teaching and professional sparring.
We are ready for the next step
We stand with a strong starting point to direct our efforts toward professional development, job satisfaction, the implementation of the Elderly Act and the continued work with the Health Act and Social Services Act.
We therefore seek a leader who wants to create followership, challenge the status quo and, together with employees and leadership colleagues, help shape the continued development of holistic care on Frederiksberg.
We are looking for you, who
