Team leader sought for the staff of the psychiatric department on Bornholm

Psychiatric Center Copenhagen is seeking a team leader for the center's staff at the Bornholm department. Here your task, together with the employees, is to serve the department's leaders in relation to a wide range of tasks.

What is the team leader role?

The staff is responsible for the leadership support aimed at departmental management (chief physician and chief nurse) and the department's other managers. You as team leader will both have personnel management of three employees, but will also personally execute to ensure leadership support for the department as well as daily operation of the staff. The three administrative employees carry out their tasks in close collaboration with colleagues in Administration in Copenhagen.

Concrete you as team leader shall itself handle tasks within

• Leadership support for department and section managers, including planning, implementation and follow-up on leadership seminars
• Project management of larger development projects
• Sekretariatsbetjening af mødefora
• Newsletters and other internal and external communication
• Presentations and notes for the department management

As team leader you must also lead the staff within the following areas

• Financial management tasks in collaboration with the administrative chief
• Tasks within HR and physician on-call scheduling
• Tasks within the quality area
• Tasks within IT and building operations
• Ongoing development and improvement of task execution in the staff

The Bornholm staff is part of the center's administration. As team leader you will have daily presence at the psychiatric department on Bornholm and report to the administrative chief based in Copenhagen.

We are seeking a team leader with these qualifications and experiences

• Social science master's degree or equivalent relevant academic education
• Documented experience with management support and project management
• Leadership experience preferred
• Experience with leading processes and organizing tasks with many stakeholders in a complex organization
• Experience from the healthcare sector is an advantage but not a condition

Who are we?

Psychiatric Center Copenhagen is part of Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital and has about 1,500 employees and 270 beds. The Bornholm department has about 100 employees and 17 beds. In Copenhagen, the center is distributed across 10 sites with inpatient wards, emergency department, outpatient clinics, specialty clinics and research. The majority of the center's wards are located at Bispebjerg.

The core task is treatment and care of people with mental illness within adult psychiatry.

The administration consists of about 25 employees, of which 4 are on Bornholm, and we solve the tasks in close collaboration across geography. The administration supports the center management and the center with task execution within, among other things, finance, law, communication, duty scheduling, physician planning, research administration and broad leadership support. The administration is organized with a secretariat team and a finance team in Copenhagen and a staff on Bornholm.

Salary and employment terms

This is a permanent full-time position, and we expect you to be hired as a senior consultant with personnel responsibility.
