About the job

Would you like to lead a strong service team and help create a professional and welcoming experience for the people who use the building every day? And do you thrive as a visible leader close to both staff, guests and daily operations?

Then you may be our new Team Manager at Aksen House in Aarhus.

A multi-building where the overall experience matters

Aksen House is a larger multi-tenant building with seven tenants. Here, good Facility Management is about more than the individual service. Reception, cleaning and the canteen must together provide the building's guests with a professional, welcoming and well-functioning experience.

As Team Manager you will play a central role in getting people, operations and service to work together. You have the daily management responsibility for reception and cleaning and you will at the same time be an important driving force in developing the overall guest experience.

A visible leader close to everyday life

You are close to your team and the daily operations. You create structure and direction, follow up and motivate your employees – and when everyday life requires it, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself.

You are curious about the needs of tenants and users and translate them into concrete improvements that can make the experience in the building even better.

You work closely with the building's head of kitchen and the canteen team as well as the person responsible for the technical building operations. You report to the customer manager, who has the overall responsibility for the customer, the finances and the overall delivery.

Your areas of responsibility

  • Lead, motivate and develop the staff in reception and cleaning
  • Plan staffing and coordinate daily operations
  • Ensure high and consistent quality and a professional hospitality in the house
  • Follow up on quality, KPIs and agreed service levels
  • Identify improvement opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives
  • Strengthen collaboration across reception, cleaning, canteen and technical building operations

Who are you?

You have experience in people management and are motivated by delivering results through people. Perhaps you come from Facility Management, hospitality, hotel, catering, cleaning or retail – but your specific industry background is not decisive.

The most important is that you have a strong service mindset and understand how good hospitality, smooth operations and engaged staff together create good experiences.

As a leader you are visible, present and clear. At the same time you thrive in an operational everyday life where plans can change.

In addition we would like you to

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully and naturally with different people
  • Have an eye for both the detail and the overall service experience
  • Work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and bring tasks to completion
  • Are good at fostering collaboration across different disciplines
  • Have interest and potential to take on broader leadership responsibility in due course

A leadership role with the possibility to grow

You will have direct management responsibility for reception and cleaning, but the ambition is that the role will in time also include the overall responsibility for the canteen, while the head of kitchen continues to provide the professional leadership of the kitchen.

Why choose us

At Compass Group you will become part of a global service company with nearly 4,000 colleagues in Denmark. You will have a solid backend and access to sparring and specialist knowledge across the organization.

In addition you will get

  • A varied daily life close to people, service and operations
  • Close collaboration with skilled colleagues across several disciplines
  • A permanent position of 37 hours per week
  • Working hours Monday-Thursday 06:30-14:30 and Friday 06:30-14:00
  • Salary according to experience and qualifications
