An important role – and rarely a boring day

As a technical service employee you help ensure that buildings, installations and outdoor areas function as they should. You become a visible part of everyday life and help create safe, well-functioning and inviting settings – also on days when a door, a faucet or a projector suddenly has its own moment.

The day often starts with a round to the areas, where you check that everything is ready for the day’s activities. Afterwards the workday can offer a bit of everything: smaller repairs, ongoing maintenance, technical support and maintenance of outdoor areas. In short, you become the one many turn to when something needs fixing – preferably before it becomes a bigger story.

Technology, supervision and control of the systems

In daily work you will also handle tasks in DALUX as well as work with ABA- and DKV-plans. You carry out regular supervision of, among other things, fire systems, sprinkler systems and CTS and follow up on faults and necessary actions – because the technical systems should do their job without making too much noise about it.

We place emphasis on you working proactively and independently. You see solutions, spot faults and deficiencies in time and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves – neither in the toolbox nor on the phone when the right tradesperson needs to come on board.

You will work closely with colleagues in the operations team and school staff. You will also be part of a district with around 20 skilled colleagues from Gentofte Properties. We share experiences, help each other and brainstorm across the municipality’s schools and institutions – because there is almost always a colleague who knows about a similar task somewhere in the municipality.

Practical information

Workplace: Ordrup School, Gentofte

Employment: Permanent position of 37 hours per week

Start date: As soon as possible.

Salary and terms of employment

The salary level for the position is between DKK 31,000 and DKK 33,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
