Technical sales assistant / bid estimator - 30 hours per week

Do you have technical understanding, a flair for numbers, and a desire to help create unique greenhouses and orangerys?

At Drivadan we are looking for an engaged and structured technical sales assistant / quotation estimator - 30 hours per week who wants to become an important part of our sales department.

You will have a diverse daily routine where technical understanding, calculations and customer-specific solutions go hand in hand. You will become part of a small team with close collaboration, short decision paths and the opportunity to shape your own workday.

Drivadan develops, produces and installs specially designed greenhouses, orangery and glass buildings for both private and business customers. No projects are identical, and therefore we are seeking a colleague who thrives with varying tasks and can translate customers' ideas and wishes into concrete technical solutions and offers.

Your tasks

You will take a central role in our sales and quotation work, where you will among other things work with:

• Quotation calculation and estimation of greenhouse-, orangery- and glass building projects.
• Measurement and quantity calculation based on drawings and project material.
• Preparation, adaptation and follow-up on offers.
• Drawing work and adjustment of technical drawings in AutoCAD.
• Collection and assessment of prices from contractors and sub-suppliers.
• Internal sales backup and technical sparring with the sales department.
• Dialogue and coordination with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Other technical and administrative tasks related to sales work.

You will have a daily life with both independent tasks and close sparring with your colleagues, where we help each other to find the best solutions.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a technical background and thrive in a position where precision, structure and collaboration are important elements.

We would like you to

• Be trained as a technical designer, technical assistant, building technician or have similarly relevant experience.
• Have basic knowledge of AutoCAD and be comfortable reading and understanding construction drawings.
• Possibly prepare 3D visualizations in SketchUp to present customer-specific greenhouse and orangery projects.
• Have good technical understanding and flair for numbers, calculations and estimates.
• Work in a structured, careful manner with an eye for detail.
• Be familiar with Excel and common IT tools.
• Can work independently and at the same time thrive with collaboration across the company.
• Be solution-oriented, responsible and good at following tasks through to the end.
• Have a positive approach to new challenges and a desire to learn our products and solutions.

If you have experience from the construction industry, preferably with orangery and greenhouse projects - for example with steel, aluminum or glass constructions - it is an advantage but not a requirement.

The most important for us is that you have the right technical understanding, work structured and want to become a part of Drivadan.
