The department is seeking an experienced head or senior consultant with a strong legal background, who can contribute to strengthening the quality and development of our legal work.
In the Department for Children, Youth, Justice and Equality we work to realize political goals in our policy area. A central part of the position will be to provide professional sparring and guidance to our two lawyers. We value collaboration, professionalism and a work culture where there is room for development and new thinking. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are collaborative, meeting your colleagues with openness and interest. In return you will become part of a workplace with dedicated colleagues who support and respect each other.
Your job
You will join the Department for Strategy, Development and Law, which consists of nine employees with different professional backgrounds. The department works across the entire department's policy area and has a central role in ensuring that political decisions are translated into concrete actions and results.

- A workplace with good colleagues and a focus on well-being and an informal tone.
Your tasks
- Professional sparring and guidance for our lawyers.
- Quality assurance of legal assessments and other legal tasks.
- Convey complex legal issues clearly and understandably to both lawyers and non-lawyers.

- Coordinate and follow up on ongoing projects and collaborate with colleagues, other departments, municipalities and other actors.
About you
- Have a relevant academic education at master’s level.
- Have solid legal experience and high professionalism.
- Experience with professional sparring, supervision or guidance of other lawyers.
