About the job

Prime Minister's Office seeks two student assistants to support the work in the ministry with starting 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Arbejdsopgaver

You will contribute to the handling of the daily task load across the entire ministry.

The tasks may include

  • media monitoring
  • practical and administrative tasks, including meeting preparation, collection and printing of meeting materials, information searching and responding to citizen inquiries.

The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with the other student assistants and the department's other staff. You will thus be part of a strong team with high professionalism, good humor and camaraderie.

Kvalifikationer

You must be a student, e.g. in a social science education such as cand.pol., cand.scient.pol., cand.merc., cand.jur. or another relevant education.

You should have an interest in – and preferably experience with – politics, media, economic affairs and public administration, and you should enjoy keeping up with the news flow and what is going on in society.

The student assistants have varying and challenging tasks. The work takes place in an environment where there are high demands on deadlines, quality and precision in task execution.

We therefore place emphasis on good collaboration skills, an overview, analytical sense and meticulousness. You are also expected to be able to quickly get to grips with new tasks and thrive with a varied daily routine.

It is an advantage to have experience from a previous student job or internship, but not a requirement.

Good IT skills and experience with the Office suite are a requirement. Skills in Excel and a good understanding of numbers would be an advantage. We expect you to be fluent in English in writing and speaking.

Ansættelsesvilkår

The working hours are 15 hours per week, spread over weekdays and weekends. The meeting time will follow a shift arrangement with the other students and may involve work early in the morning and late at night.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector, as well as the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK).

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis with a view to filling the position as soon as possible after the application deadline.

It is a condition of employment that you can obtain and maintain security clearance throughout the employment period.
