The Møllehuset Childcare Centre is an integrated institution in Kirke Sonnerup; we are normed to 24 nursery children spread over two rooms, and 45 preschool children spread over 3 rooms.

In Møllehuset you will be met by an engaged group of colleagues. We value presence and companionship with children, and are motivated by pedagogical discussions, and we all have many good ideas about how we work with the core task. We place great importance on everyone being well, both children and adults. You, as an educator, should help set the framework for the continued development of Møllehuset together with your colleagues. The house is characterized by a strong sense of community with children at the center.

We are looking for a presenceful adult who can inspire and further develop our focus on children’s development, well-being, learning, and formation.

We are passionate about creating a meaningful daily life for our nursery and preschool children.

You would work in the nursery in a wonderfully nice room with an educational assistant and a teaching aide by your side. In the nursery we prioritize strong cross-room collaboration; it’s about our children and our childcare house. Presence, security, and care are at the center, and we value small moments where relationships, curiosity, and development are allowed to grow.

About you

You are empathetic and affirming in your dealings with others.

You are a team player who values collaboration and dialogue.

You are creatively minded and want to contribute to the development of our childcare house

You may have experience with pedagogical work with children aged 0-6.

You will contribute to a coherent thread in the pedagogical work, and be active in creating a stable daily life that helps create a safe child and work environment.

You should be good at seeing opportunities and making things happen.

You are positively inclined towards change and view them as opportunities rather than challenges. Open to working both in the nursery and in the preschool – you are employed for the house.

Møllehuset has a lovely large outdoor play area with good opportunities for physical expression.

We are outdoors every day and love to use nature.

Additionally, we like to use the local area, which includes a lovely forest within walking distance, and we love going on trips outside the home.

At Møllehuset we believe that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and development. We are in the middle of a renovation and expansion, which is transforming our physical surroundings and creating even better conditions for play, learning, and well-being. Our preschool is seeking a dedicated and visionary teaching assistant who sees it as an advantage that our institution is in an exciting construction process. Our opening hours are; Monday to Thursday from 6:00 – 16:45 and Friday from 6:30 – 16:00.

Salary and employment

The dream scenario would be that you could start on November 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be employed according to the applicable collective agreement and paid according to qualifications.

The position is in the nursery, and as a starting point the position is 37 hours.

We will call for and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
