About the job

Pedagogue for the kindergarten at Legehuset Regnbuen in Tranbjerg

Do you have an eye for the child who wants to join in but has not yet found an entry point to play? We are looking for a pedagogue who will use their professional expertise close to the children and be part of a team that shares responsibility for their well-being and development.

In Regnbuen you will have familiar colleagues in daily life, fixed time for professional sparring, and dedicated time for joint tasks. The position is 37 hours per week in our kindergarten, which has two rooms and is part of Tranbjerg Daycare.

Three reasons to choose Regnbuen

  • Familiar colleagues in daily life

We do not use hourly-paid substitutes in daily operations. Instead, we have eight staff employed on the two rooms of the kindergarten and eight on the two rooms of the nursery. When everyone is at work, we have extra hands. When a single colleague is absent, we cover the shift together. This means that you work with adults who know the children, tasks, and the daily structure.

  • Shared responsibility and fixed time for professional sparring

With us, the children are a shared responsibility across the kindergarten’s two rooms. The four pedagogues have each week one hour together for dialogue, planning, and evaluation of efforts for individual children and groups of children. Afterwards, one of the rooms holds a room meeting where both room teachers and assistants participate.

You are therefore not alone with a big task. All four pedagogues share responsibility for ensuring that the agreed-upon interventions are carried out in everyday life and followed up. You have colleagues to brainstorm with and share the task.

  • Allocated time for traditions and common tasks

At the start of the year, we already allocate time in Subit to plan Christmas, Fastelavn, the annual joint trip, and other traditions. Fixed areas of responsibility such as Creative and the adults’ wardrobe are distributed among staff who also have fixed time set aside for tasks during the year. You can therefore see in the work plan when there is time to work on the tasks you are responsible for.

Play and children's communities in everyday life

We take play seriously. As a pedagogue with us, you must be willing to step into the children's play, follow their ideas, and help the play progress. It could be finding a role for the child who stands on the edge, or supporting the children in noticing each other and creating new relationships.

We believe that children do their best. When something becomes difficult, we are curious about what lies behind the child’s actions and what we adults can change in the framework around the child. We draw inspiration from NEST and the Isbjerg model, among others. You do not need to know the approaches beforehand, but you should be willing to explore and develop practice together with us.

What we hope to find in you

We are looking for a trained pedagogue who

  • has a desire to participate in the children’s play and use their professional skills to strengthen their communities
  • is curious about the child’s perspective and creates safe relationships
  • participates in the shared responsibility and contributes with questions, ideas, and professional sparring
  • meets parents respectfully and seeks sparring when conversations become difficult.

We value different perspectives and would like to hear what you are focused on in your pedagogical work. There should be room for professional wonder, laughter, and honest conversations about what challenges us.
