Two pedagogues for Børnehuset Fengersvej

There aren’t very often open pedagogue positions with us… but by the turn of the year we need both a pedagogue for our nursery and a maternity-cover in our kindergarten in Valby

Who are we

Børnehuset Fengersvej is an integrated day care for 0-6 years. We have 39 children in the nursery, 44 children in the family-type home kindergarten, and 50 children in the outreach kindergarten. We benefit from being several small units in daily life – where the home and the outreach are separate. At the same time, we are a large and fairly stable staff group of about 30 employees, which gives us the opportunity for good professional development and sparring.

We have a strong pedagogical organization including team meetings, weekly plans, opportunities for preparation time and a fixed weekly collegial reflection forum. With us you become part of an independent working team with a high share of pedagogy. We are mixed in gender, age, education, experience, etc., but we have a well-functioning work community, and we always strive together to become wiser – about ourselves, about others and about our pedagogical practice.

Our house

We have some really good physical frames. We have large bright rooms and several smaller spaces, inviting the children to share into small groups. Which we also prioritise highly in our pedagogical work. We work continuously to ensure the good learning environments we create for the children both cover learning related to language, good relationships, children's communities and inclusion. We have strong support and a really good parent collaboration, and we are an institution with very high demand. Our playground has become greener and greener with the children, so we bring some nature into the city.

We offer you

• A maternity-cover for about one year in our family-type home kindergarten, where you will be attached to a group of children and colleagues at Englebasserne. They work in close team collaboration with the other kindergarten room at Fengersvej.
• A permanent position in our nursery, where you will be attached to a group of children and colleagues at Krudtuglerne. The nursery’s three rooms have a good cooperation and help each other a lot in daily life.

You can expect us to take good care of you and your onboarding. We are a workplace where we support each other, are curious, and open to one another and the shared professional practice. We work across the building in two months at a time based on themes, and we have plenty of time for planning and evaluation before and after.

Our wishes for you

We need you to be a trained pedagogue – whether you are newly trained or experienced. The most important thing is that you have the desire to dive into play, activities and tasks around our children, and to participate in the collaboration and community with your colleagues.

You should of course thrive in everyday life with the children, and have good relationship skills. In addition, it is an advantage if you also thrive in all the other pedagogical work concerning the children and daily life, such as action plans, TOPI, Aula, etc.

Salary and employment terms

The positions are available from January 1, 2027, but it is possible to start in December 2026.

The positions are 37 hours – there is flexibility on that. Our open hours are 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. We obtain children's and criminal background checks and take references in connection with the employment.
