About us

Visitationen and Familieplejen are organized in the Center for Early Intervention and Foster Care, Children and Family Department in Aalborg Municipality. We are physically located at Vejgaard Bymidte 12, 9000 Aalborg.

The tasks in Visitationen and Familieplejen center around the placement area. We are a cohesive department with different tasks. The foster care consultants support placements and stays in foster families and support families. The primary task of the match consultants is to ensure, for the children and young people who are to be placed, a good match.

We work from a model with a strengthened match, where through a dialogue-based visitation we ensure the involvement of the child and parents. We also work closely with the child’s/young person’s social worker and the family groups as a whole. We work as a team, but we each have our own area of expertise. The vacant positions relate to recruitment of and matching to foster families. We work, like the rest of the Children and Family Department, based on our shared strategy Sustainable Child- and Family Cooperation.

  • Provide advice, sparring and guidance to partners

  • Sees the value in close interdisciplinary collaboration and can translate it into practice
  • Has good written and communicative skills
