You land in a larger carpentry company with plenty of work on the books. The tasks are in both residential and commercial sectors, so you’ll have a day-to-day with new builds, renovations and generally solid carpentry work. Some days you work independently, other days you team up with a partner, depending on what the task requires.

Your everyday In new builds the day is about getting constructions and closures prepared in the correct order. In renovations it is more about adapting the solution to what is in front of you. Some tasks require you to keep track of the next steps yourself, others are best solved together with a partner.

You will among other things be working with

• Work on new builds from bare construction to finished solutions
• Renovate and remodel in homes and commercial properties
• Install windows and doors to measure
• Handle roofing work and ordinary carpentry tasks
• Work with insulation, vapor barriers and wooden floors

There is plenty to get your hands on, and the sense of community also fills the day, even if you don’t walk shoulder to shoulder with the same people all day. When the company succeeds, there are also bonus schemes in play.

• Have experience as a carpenter, preferably at least 2 years
• Can take responsibility when you work alone
• Work properly on both new builds and renovations
• Turn up reliably and keep your commitments
• Say when something doesn’t add up
