As a toolmaker you work with the construction, customization and repair of tools, molds and fixtures for production. You help ensure that the tools operate optimally and deliver consistent parts.

The work ranges from manufacturing new tools to maintenance and adjustment of existing solutions. You work closely with production and contribute to optimizing function, lifetimes and precision.

There is a focus on detail, fits and finish, and you will have a role where craftsmanship and technical understanding go hand in hand.

• Manufacture of special tools and components
• Adjustment and fine-tuning of tools
• Repair and maintenance of molds and fixtures
• Working with tolerances and fits
• Measurement and control of precision
• Collaboration with production and engineering

Faglige Kvalifikationer

• Qualified toolmaker or similar
• Experience with precision work
• Knowledge of tool construction and function
• Can read and understand technical drawings
• Experience with measuring tools and tolerances
