Two tenors sought for Helligaandskirken's church choir

Helligaandskirken seeks two tenors, namely a standard singer and a Sunday singer.

The positions entail regular participation in high masses, in addition to Evensongs and concert projects.

For the standard singer's position also entails participation at the church's musical devotions and liturgical actions.

Rates

High Mass: 908 kr.

Musical devotion: 389 kr. per devotion (approx. 10 per month in 8 months of the year).

Liturgical action: 389 kr. per action up to 45 min.

Evensong: 1,037 kr. per Evensong (approx. 8-9 annually).

3-4 Concert projects: typically 3,000-7,000 kr. per project, depending on rehearsal process and scope.

Allowance: 889 kr. per month in availability and qualification allowance.

Extra rehearsals and staff meetings: 130 kr. per half hour

The rates are stated at 2026 level and are adjusted annually. There is also 12.5% transferred to the holiday account.

Practical matters

• High Masses on Sundays and holidays at 11:00 with choir rehearsal at 10:15
• Eight Sundays off per year plus 2nd day of Easter, where Sankt Annæ Girls' Choir participates
• Music devotion sessions take place on weekdays at 12:00 and Wednesdays at 15:00, when there is no Evensong at 17
• Opportunity for personal practice in the church's premises

We are seeking singers who

• have a well-developed singing technique at conservatory level, with solid experience in ensemble singing and good sight-reading skills, but also with solo qualifications
• want to actively contribute to the organist's artistic development
