P. Lindberg Industri A/S over the past 30 years has developed and delivered production equipment for the manufacture of wind turbine blades and is today a leading supplier of blade handling equipment in Europe. The company develops equipment for the individual needs of each customer in close cooperation with the customers' own experts and has as a new strategic initiative begun to develop its own product line under the brand BladeAlpha™. Development Engineer

mechanical design – product development – special machines

As a Development Engineer you participate in a range of different projects and depending on the project, you may take technical responsibility for your own development package, contribute as a project participant in larger development projects, or support colleagues and customers with specialist knowledge of mechanical solutions. You report to the CTO and join a team of other specialists and project managers, where you become an important piece in the company's future technical development and implementation of new products.

The position covers mechanical design and product development, including design of special machines and industrial equipment, 3D CAD modeling and technical documentation. You work with concept development, detailed design and design reviews as well as prototype development, testing and validation, and you support development projects from concept to implementation in close collaboration with engineers and technicians with different specialties.

P. Lindberg Industri has its headquarters in Gram, but also has a smaller office in Vejle, from which you can work. However, it is expected that for team-related project work you work in Gram.

Your profile

We are looking for a technically capable and responsible colleague who enjoys getting thoroughly into the problems that arise when developing new products, and who can translate their knowledge into concrete solutions and practical results. Success in the role requires a willingness to nerd a little, thoroughness, good collaboration skills and a strong drive, and you must be able to thrive in a small organization while also in a complex environment.

In connection with the selection we will especially weigh

• Education as a mechanical engineer or similar
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with mechanical design and product development, preferably within heavy duty handling equipment, special machines or process equipment
• Experience with one or more 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks) and solid understanding of practical production methods and mechanical design principles
• Familiarity with FEM analysis would be an advantage
• Experience with CE marking, Machinery Directive, FMEA and tolerance calculations can be a plus
• Fluent English and Danish in writing and speech
