Teacher for Bedstedmatriklen at Hurup School

Hurup Skole seeks a dedicated teacher for the special departments at Bedstedmatriklen.

We are looking for an employee who is passionate about creating participation opportunities, wellbeing and learning for students with different prerequisites. You may be a trained teacher, but you may also have another relevant pedagogical or teaching background. The most important for us is that you can build strong relationships with the students and contribute positively to our academic community.

We are looking for a teacher who

• Has interest in or experience with teaching students with special needs
• Is strong in relationship work with students, parents and colleagues
• Good communicative and writing skills both in speech and writing
• Can create safe, structured and motivating learning environments
• Meets the students with acknowledgement, clarity and respect
• Is curious about the students' resources and development possibilities
• Can actively participate in close team collaboration around the students' learning and wellbeing
• Wants to contribute to the development of our special offering
• Experience with special education
• Can teach in the subjects mathematics and English
• Is trained in KRAP (or has knowledge of it)

Who are we?

Hurup Skole is a school with students from 0th to 9th grade as well as Mastery classes. The school has about 465 students and 50 staff. In addition, we have two special departments at Bedstedmatriklen.

Bedsted class

Bedsted class is an offer to students with general learning difficulties. In this school year the department has 22 students distributed across three age-integrated groups: primary, middle and upper. The team consists of six dedicated staff members.

Golfstrømmen

Golfstrømmen is an offer to students with socio-emotional challenges and developmental disorders. Here there are 24 students and 13 staff members.

Salary and employment

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. A child certificate is obtained at employment.
