You do not need to have teaching experience

Maybe you have never stood in front of a class. That should not hold you back. We ensure a safe introduction to the teaching role and help you develop the pedagogical toolbox you need. You will not be left on your own, but will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues, try things out and gradually find your own way of teaching. Your most important prerequisite is that you enjoy your subject and want to pass on your knowledge.

In daily life you work closely with other teachers and staff to create teaching that makes sense for the students. You may, among other things, work with practical exercises, troubleshooting, safety, documentation and the link between theory and reality. The tasks are adapted to your competencies and the role we agree with you.

What you bring

We imagine that you have a relevant technical background and solid experience from the electrical or installation area. You may also have a background as a machine engineer or experience that in other ways makes you strong in electrical engineering and technical installations. We emphasize your overall profile – not whether your career has followed one particular path.

In the electrical area you become part of a environment with colleagues who know the world of teaching and understand the importance of strong professional standards. Here there is room to ask questions, share experiences and find solutions together. It is not a requirement that you know everything from the start. We do not expect that either.

Employment terms and practical information

The salary is set on the basis of your qualifications and experience.

Placement and remuneration will be in accordance with the regulations for civil service-like conditions at vocational schools and student homes.
