There are more than 200,000 CTS addresses in Copenhagen Airport’s (CPH) complex ventilation and HVAC systems. Therefore we are looking for a ventilation technician for CPH who both wants to ensure that the airport’s technical installations are reliable and contribute to projects and development of the facilities for the future CPH.

Your new role

As a ventilation technician you are part of a professionally skilled team that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of ventilation and climate control systems across the airport. Your daily work is varied and includes both planned tasks, troubleshooting and participation in development projects.

Your main tasks are

• Operation, monitoring and maintenance of ventilation and HVAC systems in the airport’s buildings and technical areas
• Troubleshooting on systems and components, including mechanical, electrical and operational faults
• Execution of planned and urgent maintenance as well as mechanical repairs
• Carrying out filter changes and inspection of among other things fans, motors, belt drives, dampers, bearings and heat exchangers
• Participation in projects, renovations and commissioning of new or altered installations
• Collaboration with CTS technicians, cooling technicians, skilled workers, customers and external suppliers
• Recording of completed work, faults and repairs in SAP

The work takes place both indoors and outdoors and gives you the opportunity to get close to the infrastructure that keeps the airport running every day.

Your new department

A well-functioning airport depends on reliable and robust infrastructure. Airport Infrastructure & Services ensures operation, maintenance and development of the airport’s technical installations, buildings and installations, so they always meet current requirements and support efficient operations.

The HVAC team is part of Airport Infrastructure & Services and is responsible for operation, maintenance and development of ventilation and climate systems in CPH. The team consists of skilled workers, cooling technicians, CTS technicians and ventilation technicians, who work closely together on both daily operations, maintenance, fault correction and project work. We help each other across disciplines and place emphasis on good craftsmanship, high professionalism and safe operation.

About you

You are motivated by working with technical systems where reliability is crucial. At the same time you thrive in a practical everyday life where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

We envisage you

• Are trained as a ventilation technician with experience in larger ventilation systems
• Can perform systematic troubleshooting with focus on underlying causes, mechanical repairs etc.
• Have experience with or knowledge of VAV systems, CTS, heat recovery, fire dampers as well as cooling and heating coils
• Can read technical documentation, diagrams, system descriptions and manuals
• Can prepare documentation and is able to coordinate tasks with colleagues, customers and suppliers
