We are looking for 2 dispatchers – are you our new colleague?

At Erik Duus A/S we are seeking two engaged and structured dispatchers for our departments for tipper hauling as well as crane/grab/road plates. You will become an important part of our team of dispatchers and will have a central role in making today’s many tasks, drivers and customers come together in harmony.

A fast-paced everyday life with plenty of responsibility

As a dispatcher at Erik Duus A/S you will be a central part of the daily operation. Your day starts by gaining an overview of today\'s trips and ensuring that all drivers know where to go – but you also know that plans can change quickly.

During the day you will receive new transport orders, speak with customers and partners, and find solutions when reality does not quite follow the plan. A customer needs an extra vehicle, a driver is delayed, or an urgent task must be solved. Here it is you who keeps the overview, thinks quickly and makes things work.

You will have a close dialogue with our drivers and help ensure that they have the best conditions to solve their tasks. For us, good dialogue is important. We believe that you achieve the most with respect, humor and good communication – even when it\'s busy.

At the same time you ensure that follow-up and documentation are in order, and that both today\'s and the coming days\' tasks are planned as best as possible.

Your main tasks

• Receive and handle transport orders
• Plan and coordinate today\'s and week\'s tasks
• Allocate tasks to our drivers
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with drivers, customers and partners
• Find good solutions when plans change
• Approve tasks and follow up on trips
• Collect and handle weigh slips, delivery notes and other documentation
• Ensure good coordination across our different transport tasks
• Take on various ad hoc tasks as needed

We imagine that you

• Have knowledge of the transport industry – preferably with experience in construction transport
• Have a flair for planning and coordinating
• Can maintain an overview and make decisions when it\'s busy
• Are structured and good at following up
• Communicate naturally and professionally with both customers and drivers
• Focus on good conversation and good collaboration
• Thrive in a daily life where no two days are the same
