Transport Dispatcher with Business Acumen for Pig Transport

Are you good at logistics and have a head for numbers? We are looking for a robust dispatcher who can stay calm under pressure and get the logistics to work in a fast-changing daily routine.

At H&S Westergaard we are looking for a new colleague to plan pickup and transport of pigs to slaughter. You don’t need to be able to do it all from the start – the most important thing is your attitude, that you have a can-do mindset and a desire to learn.

Your key tasks

• Planning routes and transport of pigs with good geographical understanding.
• Maintenance of existing customers and proactive contact with new ones.
• Understanding numbers and prices.
• Ongoing problem solving in close collaboration with drivers and farmers.

We envision that you

• Are structured and able to keep an overview, even when plans change along the way.
• Are robust, flexible and straightforward. You don’t take things personally, can set boundaries and manage to maintain a calm overview.
• Are self-driven and take the initiative to solve problems as they arise.
• Speaks and writes Danish and English
• Have a flair for IT – if you know Business Central, that’s an advantage, but not a requirement. It’s also a plus if you have industry knowledge, but we’re happy to train you.

We offer

• A varied job with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
• An informal workplace where we help each other succeed.
• Thorough training in our systems and workflows.
