We are looking for a concrete mixer truck driver for Unicon in the Triangle Region

Do you want to drive some of Denmark's most iconic trucks and help deliver the foundation for the construction of the future?

At Unicon we are seeking a concrete driver for our factories in the Triangle area. As a concrete driver with us you are much more than a driver. You are an important part of the casting and the one who ensures that the concrete arrives safely, in the right quality and at the right time.

You naturally enjoy being behind the wheel of a large vehicle, but at least as important is that you can collaborate with colleagues at the factory and with customers at the construction sites. Every day ends at the factory, so you avoid overnight stays in the car.

You will become an important part of the construction site

As a concrete driver at Unicon you drive the concrete from the factory to the construction site, where you collaborate with both the customer, the pump operator and colleagues to ensure the casting runs as planned.

You not only deliver a product – you help ensure that the construction can continue.

Some deliveries unload directly from the truck belt, while others are transferred to a concrete pump. Therefore it is important that you can cooperate with the people receiving the concrete, and contribute to the work being performed safely and efficiently.

You will navigate construction sites where space is often tight, and where precision and overview are crucial. It requires good driving skills, a safety focus and the ability to keep a level head when conditions are challenging.

More construction sites than highway

If you dream of long trips across Europe, this is probably not the right job.

As a concrete driver at Unicon you typically drive many short trips between the factory and local construction sites. In return you become part of the construction projects and have a daily life with close contact with customers, colleagues and partners.

It is a job for someone who likes variation, responsibility and a workday where you make a visible difference.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Have a large driving license including trailer (CE)
• Have an EU certificate
• Focus on your own and others' safety
• Enjoy driving and maneuvering large vehicles under demanding conditions
• Are service-minded and professional in dealing with customers
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your deliveries
• Have the physical strength to clean and maintain the vehicle
• Keep order around you and your equipment

It is advantageous if you have a crane certificate or experience from the construction, contracting or transport industry, but it is not a requirement.

A workday where customers help set the agenda

As a concrete driver your workday is guided by the needs of the construction sites and today's deliveries.

You typically receive notice of the meeting time the following day in the afternoon, when the next day's production and deliveries are planned. The workday ends when the last trip has been driven and the car washed. You therefore come home every day and avoid overnight stays in the car. Therefore it is not a traditional 7-15 job, and some days can be shorter than expected, while other days can be longer. Overtime occurs regularly, but is of course compensated, and we have good possibilities for both payout and saving of compensatory time, which many of our drivers use for full days off.

You report to the plant's daily manager.
