We are seeking the healthcare professional to sit at the leadership table in Tornhuset.

The health-related tasks are filling more and more in our organization, and therefore we want to strengthen the management team with a nurse or SSA for our department in Tommerup. We are looking for a new assistant rehabilitation manager who, together with three experienced managers, can create coherence between health professionalism, social pedagogy and rehabilitation for the benefit of the citizens.

An interdisciplinary working community

Tornhuset is a specialized offering for adults with autism and consists of several different offers according to the Service Act. We have both residential care and support for citizens in their own homes, and our staff therefore work with different target groups, needs and tasks. Although our everyday life differs across Tornhuset, we are one house and one work community, and you will also experience that.

You will however not be left alone with the task. You will have independent managerial responsibility for your own department, but at the same time become part of Tornhuset's leadership community, where we spar, challenge each other and set the direction together.

In addition, you will, among other things

• Support daily operations, including ensuring appropriate planning and scheduling in collaboration with the work time planner
• Hold staff and team meetings and participate in case supervision with the individual teams in your own department
• Take responsibility for the health-professional initiatives across Tornhuset
• Collaborate broadly - from relatives to authorities
• Have financial responsibility for your own departments and understand them as part of the whole
• Be co-responsible for implementing organizational and political decisions

In addition, it is important that you

• Are educated as a nurse or SSA
• Have experience with the target group – and also preferably from psychiatry
• Have leadership experience and preferably a leadership education at diploma level - or are ready to start the diploma in leadership
• Are a visible and clear leader who can motivate and support daily practice and ensure a common direction

Just as important is that you are interested in the citizen group in Tornhuset, because as rehabilitation manager Britt Clausen says: ”You have to burn for our citizens to be here. They are the starting point for all our leadership”.

In Tornhuset it is important that everyone gets a good start, so we offer a thorough onboarding process and a personal mentor for the first year. In addition, you will become part of a leadership network across programs with acquired brain injury, where we meet four times a year for professional sparring and networking. In addition, we ensure that you start on the diploma in leadership if you do not already have it.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. The expected salary level will be communicated before a possible interview.

Tornhuset is a 24-hour service and our employees work in the hours of 7–23, so it must be expected that there is some on-call, evenings and weekends - a task we share in the leadership team. You will work as assistant leader without upper working time.

Practical information

Start date January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible. We expect to conduct 1st interview on November 12 and 2nd interview on November 20.

Candidates invited to the 2nd interview will be asked to complete a personality profile analysis between the two interviews. You may also be asked to work with a small case in connection with the second interview round.
