Bulderby Kindergarten seeks a deputy head who wants leadership – and ready to learn it along the way.

Bulderby is a relatively new kindergarten with a sensory-motor profile, where children's well-being, development, play and participation in communities are central. We work among other things with sensory-motor integration, self-regulation and safe, inclusive communities.

But Bulderby isn't finished yet.

We are growing – and the coming years will be an exciting development journey, where the house, the culture and the pedagogical practice will continue to be shaped. Here you will have the opportunity to leave your mark.

Your task

As deputy head you will be part of the local leadership team and work closely with the head to make everyday life function and develop.

We are looking for you who are curious about leadership, and who want to get to know the profession. You do not need to have leadership experience. On the other hand you must be willing to take responsibility and, in time, be able to step into the leadership role when the head is absent.

And you should like that leadership in a day-care setting cannot always be put into a formula.

There may be weeks when you are 90% on leadership, and others where you are 10% on leadership and the rest close to the children, colleagues and the pedagogical practice.

We need a deputy head who can switch between the two perspectives and see what Bulderby needs right now.
