VKAREN.DK seeks employee for Try & Hire program at the warehouse of STV Logistik in Vissenbjerg

Are you experienced with a forklift and have the fitness for an active workday with plenty of movement, high ceilings, fresh colleagues and lots of warehouse work? Then you are exactly who we are looking for.

About the job

We are looking for a warehouse worker for STV Logistik, where you will become part of a small team with good colleagues and a daily life where there is room for both seriousness and good humor. This is a Try & Hire arrangement on day shifts with a view to permanent employment.

Your primary tasks will be forklift driving and handling of goods in the warehouse. You will among other things use a handheld scanner, which is easy to learn if you have no experience from previous jobs. In addition, you will apply steel bands to pallets and other routine warehouse tasks. There will be a lot of getting in and out of the forklift during the workday, and the job is therefore physically demanding. If you have experience with handling hazardous goods, that is also a plus.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-15:00.

We expect

It is a requirement that you have a valid forklift certificate, as forklift driving is a large part of the job. You should have good physical condition and be prepared for active work, where you both sit in the forklift and move around the warehouse and out on the yard.

You do not need to know everything from day one, but it is important that you are a fast learner and keen to take on new tasks. If you have solid experience with forklift driving, especially with long loads and long forks, that is a clear advantage.

Your profile

As a person you are positive, stable and ready to become part of a small team where people help each other and maintain a good and fresh tone in everyday life. You take responsibility for your tasks, work safely and efficiently, and meet your colleagues with a positive attitude.

We offer

You will become part of a company with around 25 employees, where there is a focus on a good working environment and that the employees know each other. You will have three close colleagues on site and two other forklift drivers you will work closely with.

There is a good and informal atmosphere, and the camaraderie extends beyond the workday, with employees meeting for various events throughout the year.

This is a Try & Hire arrangement on day shifts with the possibility of permanent employment if the cooperation is the right match for both parties.
