About the job
At Botilbuddet Vester Hassing we are known for being able to do something with these people
In Botilbuddet Vester Hassing, Group 3, six young people live here who need clarity, safety and meaningful everyday life. It requires a strong team around them, and therefore we are looking for colleagues who want to engage, take co-responsibility and contribute to the community. We are in the process of building a solid foundation for collaboration and professionalism, and we are looking for you who want to be an active part of that development and help strengthen the good team we create together.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for educated pedagogues. But first and foremost we are looking for people who can:
- be calm, even when the resident is not
- be present, even when the day is busy
- be curious, even when the behavior is difficult to understand
- see the individual person — not just the task
- if you have experience within the autism field, we see this as a plus
Here with us the residents have different and often complex support needs.
They communicate differently, respond differently — and need you to meet them with professionalism, patience and authenticity .
What you will become part of
You will be attached to one fixed team in a residence with five groups and 30 places.
That means
- safe and familiar colleagues
- shared responsibility for stability and development
- professional sparring and time for reflection
- a workplace with room for humor, care and integrity
With us everyday life is both structured and lively. We have an internal day service with a focus on creative activities, where the residents can express themselves, create, sense and be in meaningful processes.
In addition, there are planned trips outside the house, where we together create good experiences and memories – something many of the residents thrive with and which strengthens the relationships and the community.
We are in the process of creating greater continuity in Group 3, and therefore you will have an important role in creating calm, structure and coherence — for both the residents and the community.
Our professional stance
We work recovery-oriented and see the residents as whole people with their own wishes and dreams.
We implement LA2U (Low Arousal 2 supportive) as a common approach, with focus on
- calm, predictability and prevention
- understanding of behavior
- shared reflection
- secure relationships
There are also learning days held throughout the year, where the shared professional culture is in focus.
In addition, supervision is planned year-round, focusing on the individual resident and with room for curiosity, new perspectives and new approaches.
We prepare you well — but we also expect you to take responsibility for your own professional development.
Our everyday life is authentic
You will have a day where
- relationships matter
- professionalism matters
- the mood in the team matters
- Your engagement matters
It isn’t always easy — but it is meaningful and important.
You will become part of a workplace where we say things as they are — and where we help each other, even when the day is challenging.
The position
- 37 hours
- Day and evening shifts
- Weekend every 2nd or 3rd week
- Start around 1 January 2027 – or before
- Salary according to applicable collective agreement
- Police check and references obtained
Bus connections are limited, so a car is an advantage.
