We are looking for two student assistants for the Center for Child and Adolescent Counseling

Do you want to translate your social work knowledge into practice and gain experience with authority work in the child and family area? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

In the Center for Child and Adolescent Counseling, two of our skilled student assistants will soon graduate, and we are therefore seeking two new engaged and curious social work students who want an exciting student job with opportunities for both professional and personal development.

As a student assistant you will be part of a department that works to create the best possible solutions for children, young people and their families, and we are a department that places a strong emphasis on communication to children and young people. This means, among other things, that we write to children and young people instead of writing about them. As a student assistant you will gain insight into the social-legal authority work and you will become an important part of the department's work with children, young people and their families.

About the job

As a student assistant you will be part of “Team Aktindsigt” (Access to records), which consists of four student assistants. The team has a very special responsibility to process the access to information requests that come from children, young people and their parents. As part of the work, there is also a task of talking to children and young people about which records they want released and in conveying the contents of the records to the children and young people who want it.

In addition, the job as student assistant can also consist of the following tasks

• Journalization and document handling.
• Collection and structuring of information.
• Other administrative tasks related to case handling. Eg preparation of mappings under the Child Act § 19.
• Diverse ad hoc tasks.

We will, as far as possible, try to adapt the tasks to your study program and your competences.

• Are a student in the social work education and have recently completed your internship.
• Have an interest in children, young people and families.
• Thrive with tasks that require thorough reading, analysis and attention to detail.
• Work in a structured and responsible manner and have a flair for the administrative.
• Have good collaboration skills and treat others with respect.
• Are a team player with a focus on how you can contribute to your team and to the department.
• Have good energy and a lot of initiative.

We have chosen this to avoid unnecessary advisor changes in line with the intentions of the Child Act, but also because we believe it contributes to developing skilled child and youth advisors.

Employment process and salary

The start date is January 1, 2027 or as soon after as possible.

The positions are 10-15 hours per week.

We expect to hold interviews on Monday, November 23, 2026.

Application deadline: November 17, 2026.

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the collective agreement for student assistants/administrative staff in municipalities. Employment is based on local pay-setting principles and in agreement with the bargaining party organization.

The salary range for the position is 26,899 DKK – 28,339.41 DKK per month excluding pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the trade union with bargaining rights on the relevant collective agreement area. The pay depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the applicable agreement after local pay-setting principles and in agreement with the bargaining party organization.

We obtain criminal and/or child welfare attestations.
