Both are permanent positions and in one of the positions you have the opportunity to shape the future bioanalysts as a clinical supervisor.

In the Blood Samples and Biochemistry department in Silkeborg, we work with people – from start to finish. Some days you meet the patient face-to-face when you take blood samples in the outpatient clinic. Other days you travel to citizens in their own homes, at nursing homes or residences with our mobile function. And on other days you work in the laboratory, where your analytical results form the basis for diagnoses and treatment. Whatever you do, you can feel that your work makes a concrete difference for the individual.

Blood Samples and Biochemistry covers the regional hospitals in Viborg, Silkeborg, Skive and Hammel Neurocenter, and we are a diagnostic partner with connections to the entire healthcare system – from hospitals and general practice to municipalities and nursing homes. In Silkeborg we are a close team where professionalism, collaboration and a good tone go hand in hand. Our department in Silkeborg is staffed on all weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., which provides a predictable day-to-day life without night and weekend shifts. You have the opportunity to indicate which shifts fit you within a 15-week shift cycle – so you can plan your life outside work.

Your tasks

As a bioanalyst with us you get a broad and varied daily routine

• Blood sampling and ECG on children and adults – primarily in the outpatient clinic and at a few sampling inpatients
• Mobile function with blood sampling and ECG for citizens in their own homes, at nursing homes, residences and similar
• Analytical work on modern, fully automated laboratory equipment, where you operate all equipment across biochemistry, hematology, coagulation and serology

In Silkeborg you are not tied to one specialty – you master the whole palette. It provides a varied workday where you constantly keep your professional edge across disciplines.

Opportunity for a role as clinical supervisor

One of the two positions contains an exciting opportunity: a temporary four-year role as a clinical supervisor. Here you, together with our bioanalyst educator, are responsible for receiving and guiding bioanalyst students in their clinical education. You will be the one who builds a bridge between theory and practice, and who helps the students find a foothold in a clinical everyday life.

The role requires no prior supervisor experience; it requires, however, that you are passionate about teaching, patient, patient-friendly and willing to see others grow professionally. If you have that spark, we will support you with the tools and the training you need.

About you

You have authorization as a bioanalyst and enjoy the direct patient contact that makes our profession so meaningful. You are service-oriented and quality-conscious, and you can maintain an overview. You thrive with varied tasks and the switching between outpatient clinic, mobile function and laboratory work, and you are motivated by mastering many different functions. You are reliable and dependable, because you know that your colleagues and patients depend on you being there.

Since mobile duty is part of everyday life, we prefer applicants with a driver's license. Most of all you are a person who values a good community and contributes to it with a positive attitude and, preferably, a sense of humor. If you are recently graduated or finishing at the start of 2027, you are also welcome to apply – the most important is your willingness to learn and to make an effort.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field.
