Weekend helper for the kitchen at Klarahus nursing home in De Gamles By in Nørrebro

Do you want to make a difference and help create meaningful food experiences for elderly citizens?

We are looking for an engaged, dedicated and responsible kitchen assistant who can work every 3rd weekend at Klarahus – a nursing home with 110 residents distributed across five departments in De Gamles By on Nørrebro. Here you will have a central role in ensuring that the meals reach the residents on weekends.

Your profile

You do not need to be a trained professional, but we would like you to have relevant experience from similar positions (this is not a requirement). We expect you to be cheerful, hardworking and to thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment with a focus on the resident at the center. You are able to maintain an overview and work in a structured way with a focus on hygiene and food safety.

Your tasks will primarily be

• pick up and deliver meals to the house's five departments – including 11 department kitchens
• prepare the hot lunch
• spread and plate open-faced sandwiches in the evening.

Employment terms

The position is approx. four hours per week with a fixed weekend every 3 weeks from 10:00 to 16:30. Wage and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

If you are considered for a position at a municipal unit, we will check whether you have been dismissed or expelled from the municipality within the last three years and share relevant information about this with the hiring manager.
