We are looking for a welder for steel constructions in Gånsager.

You land in a larger production company where they work with load-bearing steel constructions, steel trusses and steel arches for construction. The day-to-day life takes place in the production together with other professionals, but there are also tasks where you handle your own part of the work. It is a stable workplace with camaraderie, where people help each other move forward when something needs to work properly.

The role suits you who enjoy working with steel, welding and finishing, where the quality can be seen in the finished piece. You get both pre-work, welding, post-processing and quality assurance between your hands, so it is not just one station all day. Here things must be proper, because the constructions must go out into construction and withstand what they are made for.

What you get Salary: 160-180 DKK per hour

Work area: Gånsager and surroundings

Colleagues: About 75 employees

Collective agreement: Employed under applicable collective agreement

Your everyday

The work starts at the workpiece, where the steel must be prepared, adapted and welded according to the task that is ready. You switch between preprocessing, MAG, MIG, MMA, TIG, pipe welding and post-control, depending on what the production requires. When something is finished, it must be checked properly before it goes further in the process.

You will among other things work with

• Post-processing and quality assurance of welded pieces
• Pre-work and preparation before welding
• MAG, MIG and MMA welding in steel
• TIG and pipe welding as needed
• Welding in black steel and constructions for construction

This is work for you who can keep a cool head and do not deliver anything halfway. There is room to take responsibility for your own area, while you have colleagues around you when the task requires more hands.

We are looking for you who can check off most things

You do not need to be expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand by what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with welding in steel
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Are stable and show up as agreed
• Say if something doesn’t add up
• Like a daily life with production, preparation and quality checks

It is an advantage if you have tried MAG, MIG, MMA, TIG or pipe welding before. But the most important is that you take the trade seriously and can deliver a proper piece of work.
