Ordrup Skole seeks an engaged and creative Danish teacher for 2nd grade with start on 1 December 2026 . We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about the Danish subject and about creating teaching with professional ambitions, where strong relationships and community are the foundation for students' learning and well-being. With us you will become part of a school where we succeed together – both academically and personally.

As a Danish teacher you will be part of a class team consisting of a mathematics teacher and a class pedagogue. Collaboration is a natural part of everyday life, and there is scheduled time for joint planning, coordination and sparring. It provides the opportunity to think about teaching, structure and pupil well-being together and to ensure a coherent school day for the pupils.

Co-Teaching is a fundamental working method at Ordrup Skole and not a temporary measure. When two adults are present in the teaching, we work consciously with shared didactics, clear roles and joint preparation. All teachers have Co-timers in their task overview, and we prioritise a high number of Co-timers across all year groups.

In 2nd grade the everyday is supported by 10 class pedagogue hours plus Co-Teaching hours, which provides good opportunities for presence, differentiation and shared responsibility for pupils' academic and social development. There will also be opportunities to teach in English, preferably the softer part of crafts and design and other subjects, we are open to assembling a subject combination that fits well for both you and the school's needs.

Salary and employment are in accordance with the current agreement with Gentofte municipality Teachers' Association. In Gentofte Municipality there is a general policy that when hiring in the children and youth area, a child protection and criminal record check is obtained.
