Psychiatric Center Ballerup, Herlev and Gentofte Hospital, is seeking a Junior Doctor with an interest in psychiatry for a professionally developing position

We are looking for a junior doctor for our emergency department and emergency team!

Become part of a large group of junior doctors who, together with our skilled consultants, staff our 9-bed ward. We have 2 permanently employed specialists in the Acute House, but now lack an extra doctor in our emergency department.

Weekdays and responsibilities

You will be attached to the acute house at Psychiatric Center Ballerup. Here you will perform rounds and ward rounds together with several other doctors and a consultant. In addition you will assist in our emergency team under close supervision by our consultant. You will join the on-call team with both day shifts and night shifts.

You participate in the clinical work on the ward, including conversations with new patients, preparation of treatment plans, interdisciplinary collaboration and participation in treatment conferences and networking work, all under supervision of specialists and other staff. We place emphasis on a safe work environment with opportunities for professional sparring and a focus on learning.

About Psychiatric Center Ballerup

Psychiatric Center Ballerup has about 750 employees, including 80-90 doctors.

We have specialized services for eating disorders, traumatized refugees and PTSD. There are joint clinics, conferences and theme days for all center's doctors.

Salary and employment terms

Start date can be arranged by agreement

The position can be filled depending on experience and qualifications as Doctor level 1 or level 2 (resident doctor or 1st reserve doctor).

You will be employed under the collective agreement for junior doctors, including the provisions of the agreement on working hours.
