Are you interested in working as a financial consultant in Accounting at the North Jutland Region, where you maintain traditional financial virtues and work with the effects of new technology? We are looking for a stable and independent colleague who can support the administrative accounting needs of Region North Jutland. Your area of work will be well defined, but the tasks are varied, and you must therefore be prepared to work broadly within the bookkeeping area.

About us

Accounting is part of the Center for Administration with about 100 employees, of whom 45 are employed in Accounting. We service all parts of Region North Jutland in accounting areas, including:

Preparation of annual financial statements

• Invoicing and payments via financial and procurement systems
• Development and maintenance of chart of accounts
• Bank relations, liquidity management and debt care
• Analysis and supervisory work in the financial areas

In Region North Jutland, the accounting functions are centralized in a shared-service center – Center for Administration. The center also contains Operational Procurement, Practice settlement and Patient transport.

Our tasks support Region North Jutland's goal of ensuring nordic citizens high-value services and correct content. We are a workplace with a good mix of age groups and have an average seniority in the department that we are proud of. We take care of each other as well as the tasks we solve – together.

Your primary tasks

In Accounting a wide range of tasks is solved. In these positions you will immediately work with bookkeeping in relation to our finance and procurement systems. In addition we allocate tasks as needed, skills and desire in an ongoing dialogue between staff, staff among themselves and management.

We say that the tasks are loaned. And as such there is a guarantee that you continuously in Accounting will experience having to learn new and relate to both new technology and new administrative approaches. But you always have management and colleagues to support you and our high average seniority says something about the job satisfaction in the department.

About you

You may have knowledge of public economy within the accounting area and a relevant education. We place particular emphasis on you as a person and your match with your future colleagues. Here we will pay attention to your collaboration skills and ability to share knowledge – skills that are a natural part of our daily life.

We offer

A position of 37 hours with start 4 January 2027. Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and experience. Workplace is the Regional House, Niels Bohrs Vej 30, Aalborg East. Work in Accounting is organized with time registration. We require presence on the workplace, but also offer home office to a degree that fits the tasks, the social at the workplace and the individual's needs and desires.
